With the volume of cards shipped by ATI/Nvidia in their launch weeks alone, the number of dead cards have yet to surpass the number of Gigabyte motherboards that have to be RMAd at launch

Seriously, we're talking about less than 1% of 1% that flash the bios that have their cards die. Out of that, even a smaller percentage are reporting non-bios related deaths.

Some have three 4870s working in crossfire with overclocks just fine.
