Just look at the HD4800 seriers, stock cooler = useless, i bet even on a 4870 a HR03 would shave at last 30°C under load (without ocing) and maybe is even more silent then the stock cooler...

Also seems that the cooler of the 280gtx has some issues, to bad those people with overheating problems dont look under the cooler...
