did you look at the IQ compare? GT200 16X CSAA (8X MSAA) is directly comparable to RV 770 4X AA + Edge Detect or even 4xAA

and if you compare any gt200 to rv770 you will see significant lack of texture shading in the gt200 (im talking bricks on the nearest arch, bottom left corner, look at highlight and detail differences)

i have looked at these on a CRT and the top edges where sky meet flying buttresses there is significant ghosting of the textures on the gt200 that is not present at all in the 770 screens.
