My Ballistix actually overheat after 24 hours of heavy use. I mounted an AMD Athlon fan on them (have to use up those AMD parts somehow) and they are now cool to the touch and no issues.
same with my G.Skill's hot to the touch with O/C or idle >> then fan >>Now cool to touch even under load
