Let me rephrase. I've been running Vista Ultimate 64-bit for over a year and zero issues. My HP laptop that I got last summer had Vista Home Premium 32-bit which was formatted at least once a month until December when I finally decided to install 64-bit flavor. Go figure, ZERO ISSUES AND INSTABILITY! Anyways, I need to get back to overclocking on this board. For me, the GTLRef is where it's at... at least I think. I find it stupid that I need 1.45V to do 4.0 GHz. 1.40V is the highest I'll go on this CPU. If I was running water, I'm sure I'd be using less voltage, but I tried water last time on my X3220 G0.... same overclock, just 10C difference. X3220 G0 @ 3.92 GHz with 1.70V = 65C with H20. X3220 G0 @ 3.92 GHz with 1.70V = 77C with TRUE120 + Scythe S-Flex @ ~1300 RPM

Anyways... back to work for me

By the way, that X3220 overclock was done on the rig 'as is' in my sig. The only difference is I was using it for benching a while back and it had 4 x 1 GB sticks @ 1000 MHz and had the PC Power and Cooling 750 WATT and the HD 3870X2.

Edit: Crucial Ballistix Tracers 1 GB modules rated for 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2V.... yea, one of the sticks decided to crap out on me after 4 months. Also, they run EXTREMELY HOT! I took a temperature gun and measured the tmeps.... 75C with dual F@H SMP clients They also discolored the RAM slots on the motherboard
