    The temps on 790i NB were down to 60-62C comparing to stock 67-69C (OC, loaded) with significantly lowered noise. This x48 mod is much better though - more efficient, lower temps around 41-43C (OC, loaded), lower fan RPM (1800 vs 2600), even lower noise, better look.
    x48 NB dissipates significantly less power then NB of 790i though AFAIK, thats a plus, RAID performance is another HUGE plus, etc.
