Slim142, I have to say I really admire your tenacity for trying to achieve apparent infinite stability with this board and BIOS(s). Your dedication is commendable...

Currently I'm playing with a boxed E8500, my QX9650 is taking a rest for awhile.

FSB = linked and synced @1801
8.5 multi (3.8ghz)
Vcore = 1.2375 bios, 1.24 load LLC disabled
Vdim = 1.76 bios ~1.78 real (8-7-6-15 1T)
nb = 1.38
vtt = 1.28
pll = 1.5
sb = 1.5

nb ref gtl = +.20mv

system is occt and prime stable for at least 1 hour, (haven't gone further), and I can game till the cows come home with no probs, (Crysis and MS FSX and FS9).

Thing is, I think you're trying to stabilize a board with almost decent bios(s) and it's going to be at least a challenge.

I'm waiting for the final polished version before I start long term stability testing, but at this point it's almost trivial since the system is stable enough for gaming.

(btw, I like 0511 and am currently on 0703).

You realize that when I say I'm waiting for the final polished version, I'm putting my faith in Asus tech. That's scary...

Just look in their forum and read the horror stories, people ready to threaten legal action, etc.

Anyway, I think the board's overpriced but it works ok and I have no SLI issues so all's pretty good.

Good luck in your quest for ultimate stability.

My head's in the sand with "ok" stability at this point.
