(i removed the vote from eastcoasthandle since he accidentally voted for every option)
i know its not many votes, but lets look at the results:
790 in general: 15 reports of corruption, 15 reports of no corruption
50%... thats quite high, even for a poll on xs asking about corruption imo
790 reference: 6 reports of corruption and 9 reports of no corruption.
so exactly 40% using the reference board experienced corruption
790 asus S2E : 9 reports of corruption and 6 reports of no corruption.
so exactly 60% using the reference board experienced corruption.
again, there arent that many reports yet but atm it looks like we can draw 2 conclusions:
1. unusual high amount of corruption problems with 790 in general, regardless of whether the chipset was oced to speeds it was not stable anymore or not.
everybody here pushes their system to the limits but its uncommon to have the OS corrupt this often. and apparently it seems to happen even though most benchmarks pass and the system appears stable.
2. there are 30% more asus S2E corruption reports than reference evga/xfx corruption reports.
so far nobody posted any results from doing a system integrity check like eternal suggested. could you please post your results of this check?
thanks everybody!![]()
