No, I didn't think that information had any bearing on solving my question.

    Hard Disk Boot Priority:
    1.SCSI-1: Intel Volume0 [Raid 0 pair]
    2.SCSI-0: ST3160827AS [Single Seagate HD]
    3.Bootable Add-in Card

So: can anyone comment on my question concerning what is showing in their bios setup screen under "Standard CMOS Features"?
Do you see 4 or 6 "SATA Channels"?
The Abit IP35-Pro Owner's Manual clearly shows 6 SATA Channels, where my bios setup screen only shows 4 SATA Channels.
Does the screen cursor allow positioning on each separate SATA Channel?
I'm beginning to think my IP35-Pro board may need to be RMA'd back to Abit.
