the only reason i thought I might try 4GHz is because I know this particular chip is good, and should be able to bench at 4ghz. got it from zucker2k and he had 12hr prime95 stable at 425x9 with 1.376v in windows

my guess is that if i had some 1066 sticks i could probably pull off 24/7 425x9 at same volts, with divider at 1.25 (puts ram at 1063mhz)
just realize the more you P95 at higher vcore the more you are shortening the life on the cpu...by how much, don't know but it is widely accepted precept that higher the vcore you run the shorter the life and possibly less/decreased overclocking overhead...65nm cpu's fair better than 45nm cpu's when it comes to accepting higher vcore for a sustained period.

i have a Q6600 that could with stand P95 at 3.8 ghz but the vcore had to be around 1.52-1.54v...i took that cpu up to 4.2 ghz for a suicide run...i really had to jam the voltage up its arse...i could bench at 4ghz but the vcore would have been to high for my own satisfaction even though i do not run my puter 24/7.
