tell us your current FSB and multi.

current is 418x9 (3.762GHz), with 1.2 RAM divider. It's passed 12hr prime95 small ftt with max temps at 63C (per hwmonitor), but current load temps are 59C. 400x9 (3.6GHz) passed 24hr prime95 and max temp was 57C. vcore, vtt and mch were all increased slightly to go to 3.7

4ghz is stretching it for a Q6600 unless you are on chilled water....could be that the newest bios shuts down 2 cores automatically once above a predetermined MHZ for 65nm processors...other board maker bioses have the capability to select (enable) only two out of four cores to work so it can post to boot at the higher end of the overclock.

the only reason i thought I might try 4GHz is because I know this particular chip is good, and should be able to bench at 4ghz. got it from zucker2k and he had 12hr prime95 stable at 425x9 with 1.376v in windows

my guess is that if i had some 1066 sticks i could probably pull off 24/7 425x9 at same volts, with divider at 1.25 (puts ram at 1063mhz)
