First, a vast majority of NVidia cards ARE pre-overclocked. To say "using a 9600GT OC" is lame is just pretty funny, considering you will be able to buy that exact card, putting out that exact same performance, without having to do any work whatsoever. Stock is exactly how it came to you from the store. Now, how many pre-clocked ATi cards are there?
Second, there isn't even a single title ANNOUNCED, much less on the market, using DX10.1. No announced patched in support either. DX10.1 is pretty much on ignore presently by gaming development houses. Would it be nice to see dx10.1 support? Sure. Is it "lame" because it lacks it? No.
It would be if it was in use at all, or even considered to be used in the next year or so, but by the time it's actually used we'll all be using much more powerful cards than we currently have.![]()
