alright guys...now perhaps i am retarded, damn good chance, but i am stumped.
i actually have the sound card installed, first time for everything, and installed drivers and have the little black hawk interface crap all working great. Vista X64 BTW. but when i plug headphones into the rear green port, it tells me to plug them in the front. the software is setup to accept headphones in the front slot and there doesn't appear to be a way to change it to the rear green slot.
i obviously don't have a front panel seeing as the motherboard is sitting on a box and for the life of me, i can't tell the software to use the rear green port for headphones. the manual even goes as far as saying that the system will designate the headphones for front panel use...but hen goes on to say that some systems might not have a front panel. geee, thanks Asus![]()
how about listing how to change the port configuration so you can use headphones through a rear port instead of pointing out the obvious.
so...any help here guys. i just love how Asus will always make you feel like a tool at some point with their boards.
