you know, i don't use my benching rigs for anything except benching and the on-board sound on my killer single core 2x512MB socket 939 daily rig does me just fine for my needs so no, not a sound card in the building...until they make one that helps with SPi times

bloody hell Paul you make me feel so dumb sometimes . i knew it was something stoopid like that. i could have swore i read through the options carefully and did not see anything for headphones and rear slot and i know i tried that option before but silly me had the 'independent headphones' selected as the default sound device at the time which sends all audio to the front panel jack .

give me a BIOS with a million options and i will figure out what it all does in a weekend...ask me to get headphones to work with a fancy soundcard and i am a starving monkey holding a banana with mitts on.
