Silver Sink and that is the one I would get as its Factory Cooling is Superior and just a awesome universal amount of configure options and it JUST WORKS!

All the answers you seek are in the thread. I know it's tough to go through them all, but it helps the flow of the general thread...ONCE you've done the dirty work of starting from page 1.

DFI ""LT"" P35-T2R~~~No Transpiper Version - Bigass discussion of all things non heat pipe.
$270 UT ~ connected silver pipes (-the-heatsink-on-your-left), transpiper
    $240 LT ~ 3 individual black sinks

I really don't care for the black, silver looks classier...but $30 for color? I don't think so.

For the $30.00 more I would just get
D.F.I LanParty UT P35-T2R because the stock cooling is phenomenal and you will spend more than $30.00 in seperate High end Cooling accessories anyway!

It would be fun to tinker around w/ the TP too. Especially w/ my little TRUE that can't quite sit still.

Yeah, you guys just rained all over us. Since you're local, check out desertbash @ the Intel Campus in Chandler.

I just got to looking @ those LT pics and it seems they're using the push pins as opposed to the screws in the UT. I'll have to check w/ mobopro tomorrow, but that's worth $15 bucks in shopping/hassle for me.

I know, I was just surprised how easy this board can reach high FSBs...will be priming over the weekend.

By the way, how come my CPU-Z showed a core speed of 3.5ghz while the Windows properties showed 4.54ghz?

And which is a better primer- Prime95, Orthos or OCCT?

just got mine today. so is the general concensus just to leave out the transpiper?im watercooling a naked quad-core so from my quick browse at the leaflet I wouldnt be able to use the copper plate method with the transpiper right?

anyway to use the transpiper or not to use?also is the 913 BIOS considered the best just now?

thanks guys, nice thread here been reading through most of it.

thanks again. sorry for more questions.

out through the rear is using the copper plate over the cpu right? not usre if i want to do that since im cooling a naked quad-core and its tricky getting a perfect mount with the block alone without having a copper plate over the bare cpu dies. do you reckon its much less efficient just to have one of the internal configs for transpiper and which one do you reckon is best out of those?

Just caved, hehe. Price on the pretty piped version went down another $5 and comes w/ that Transpo bag I'm sure will be put to good use. Still, $272 shipped's about $60 more than I've ever spent on a board, lol. It better not crackle w/ my X-Fi!!

    *really pumped for this*

Well, I'd say the Blitz Formula's cooling system would be tits.

But now I need to get myself some TIM (MX-2) and UV cathodes. Anyone use these? I'm looking for the brightest...thanks!

LOGISYS 12" DUAL UV COLD CATHODE KIT<---I went w/ this one cause the white lights in the case were from them...and they're BRIGHT!

Still loving this board. My second G0 Q6600 arrived and I will pop that in the P5K Deluxe and see if that was the real difference seperating these two boards. I doubt it.
