Rubbish, overclocking gives an indication of the head room of the CPU.
If it's barely equivelant to the performance of a C2D chip - the ONLY WAY AMD will sell them is to cost them lower than intel or to hardcore enthusiasts.
This is how it works, this is how it has worked forever between intel and AMD
