    PC Probe and AI Suite. both load a an imitation driver called the ATK0110 ACPI Utility. When you install either of two programs, The ATK0110 will continue to run on your computer, both as a TSR and driver in the device manager.

    Just after loading the two programs, I had Blue Screen crashes. I un-install It from the control panel but it was still there. I went into program directory and manually delete the two program. (That should have come off on the un-install) That did not work. I went into the registry and delete a number of entries. Some I could not delete even after taking ownership.

    I was not able to disable the driver in the Device Manager and when I used the un-install and delete the drivers method in device manager, and the ATK0110 ACPI Utility re-appears on my next boot.

    I booted up safe mode and was able to finally disable the utility/ driver. On re-boot, Windows Update wanted to install the driver. I hidden the update so I would not be bother with that again.

    I I am still trying to take the disabled driver off of my system. If you know how, please let me know. ASUS went to a great effort to keep the ATTK0110 on your computer. Why I do not know.

    Other simple programs can detect both the system temperature and the MHz without even making a program directory.

    This thing is all over (was) my registry. Now I have just one registry area to delete, but it said that I do not have permission ! And, I know how and have many time taken permission of a .dll and many other type files. Why would ASUS do this.

    I had a problem with that one other time a few years ago, but, the registry eateries where not doubled bolted shut. You can't kill this thing , thanks to ASUS.

    It should all come off on an uninstall.

    The driver in device manager is now disabled. But, I don't like looking at when I go in there. I think some of you enthusiast can relate.

    And, I want the last entries out of my Registry. I am going to go through it again, If I can't get this BS off, I am going for help from ASUS.

    But, it may not be in their trouble shooting manual, to get the real people in the know takes a little effort.

    Can anyone help?

    PS: no more blue screens to clean up after since it is gone. And, it has been a few days now with a lot of use.
