I've seen in other forums where they have done this but it may limit the card's ability to oc
not true...I am using an Ocz powerstream 520w on HD 2900 XT alone...
Using 6 pin connector good upto 950/1050 clocks.....
8 pin just enables OD in CCC.....suppose to give more of an stable oc
but i have not noticed any difference betwen 6 or 8 pin
oc ability on the cards.
Been using 1.35 vgpu/load on this 520w powerstream...running solid till now...
