I got some questions about this pump..

1.
I have seen alot of posts of liang pumps dying, looks like a bad shipment, if i buy a pump now, is there a possibility that it will just die?

2.
I have been looking on that 9-18w mod, can all liang pump do this? Or it is just a special version that i can use this mod on?

3.
Trim top?
I will get better performance by adding a new top on the pump. It doesnt looks that hard to make a home make top, anyone tried this?
