Simply put in the majority of apps. Penryn will be 20% faster the conroe clock for clock . Something your in denial about but its well documented here at XS. Than you look at the O/C of the Intels K10 hasn't got a chance/

you personally calculated that Penryn doesn't have even 2 Million more transistors for the core. Which is less than the original Pentium Pro. SOOO how can you expect such huge performance improvement so such a small addition of transistors to the Core and just 50% more Cache (which definitely will not give even 10% more performance, even in anyone's wildest dreams)
