I normally set everything manually in the bios even if I'm not doing an overclock. Try setting the cpu multi and nb multi the right settings and also the ht link. Then set processor cpu voltage and processor nb voltage to 1.25v. When you boot up, I recommend running cinebench 10 for a quick stability check. If the graphics test is slower than normal, the nb voltage needs a bump. If it freezes, then the cpu needs a bump. If it makes it through fine then try crunching. I've found that best stability comes from using 2x1gb sticks at the 800mhz divider.
