    7900GT 1.4v mod

Hi! Im soon (tomorrow i think) getting a new 7900GT card, and I'm planing to do a 1.4v mod.

So then i ask you guys, is it something I should be carefull for? I know how to do the mod.

And this is a discussion thread for the mod too.

Btw, Im going to use a tin wire and fix it with some tape.

I made the 1.40v mod today and its fine , i use liquid conductive ink , and tape , after the mod i mesure with multimeter and i got 1.39v.

I have watercooling and my temp with MOD its 30/31c idle and 33/34c Fulll load.

Now i can get 650 mhz in the core.

The Mod its easy if you use tape , after the Mod mesure the voltage with multimeter .

    regards

Ok. In the start I'm only using stockcooler, but I'll give some water to my computer in the future:P

BFG GTs comming today. Plan to do the mod with Wire and solder, as I have never heard of conductive ink and do not know where to buy.

The white 'dot' that you solder too the solder won't stick too btw. I tried soldering but i ended up taping the wire to the dot.

Memory, coolbits doesn't scroll higher than 816. Need another program to increase the memory.
