My W/C system is so good it made it snow in Dallas

I thought everyone would get a kick out of the fact that it is snowing in Dallas, Texas. For those of you who do not know where that is or why that is so special, it does not usually snow here, to warm.
    Anyway, enjoy the laugh.

    Love the pics, man.

There's snow on the ground in Dallas, but in New York, it's 50 degrees out.

Matter of fact, in our area, we are in the way to break a record with over 416 CM as of today while the previous recort is 393 CM. The whole winter record is 457 CM and we are expecting another snowstorm saturday (mind you, we got thru one yesterday with 35 CM of snow).

    For the metric challenged :

    416 CM = 13.65 feets
    457 CM = 15 feets
    35 CM = 13.8 inches

    I'm not worthy...

    But not envious either...that's ALOT!

I like a little snow, but this year was getting old. Finally getting some grass to show through in places....so it IS melting...

You guys are lucky; out around the DC metropolitan area, we haven't seen much in the way of decent snow storms this year. We get the occasional flurries, but from a snow sports standpoint, this year has been crap. I've only gone skiing a few times, since every single resort has almost zero fresh snow.

Oh well, 'least it means I'll be getting out of school earlier

snow is no problem but when its effectively -50 to -56c (50km/h wind) for a straight week it hurts

but looks to be -3 this weekend so maybe i will take out the shorts?

I think a lot of you snow bunnies are missing the irony here. Come this summer I will post about how friggin hot it will be, i.e. 110 degrees and that doesn't take in account the heat index factor adding another 10 degrees. But hey, if I had 10 feet of snow outside I would just put my rad out there and post in the chiller section.

i used to have a bench setup in a small basment room with vga cables running thru the wall, it worked really well with wireless keyboard/mouse.. until i had to go reset cmos...

had an ambient of approximately 0c, my Q6600 with 1.55v ran at 11c load on air

Wow, you must have a REALLY good water setup to get your q6600 to run at 3.6Mhz...

yes, well, here in Maine we just got ANOTHER 3", on top of the ridiculous amount we already had on the ground, which makes it look something like this:

    Grass--Ice--Snow--Snow--Ice--Snow--Dog Pee--Ice

Snow is great...so long as it's snow. Most of the time fortunately, but in this case UNfortunately, Maine gets 4 seasons of weather, every season.

hmm, I wish it would have snowed here this winter. They're reporting that it's been the warmest winter in 250 yrs here in Sweden. . .. I think we had 4 days of snow, and a hundred days of crappy rain.
They say the definition of madness is doing the same thing and expecting a different result.

Whimp! A couple of years ago, we got ~9.5'(~290cm).....in 24hrs......Ahh, the good 'ol days, I miss them. This year has been crap. The temp on Thurs was around 40ºF and there is only ~ 1.5"-2" of snow on the ground. I'm looking forward to hopefully getting hit kind of hard by this new storm. This whole winter has been snow-melt-snow-melt, I've seen more grass during this winter than the past 10 years combined.
