    Temps man. The boost is just as much tied to the temperature as it is the power target. At 70C you'll see the voltage drop, which will drop the clocks as well. Doesn't matter what the power target is in said situation. If you can keep it below that temp, you can get higher clocks. That's the magic number to keep below. If you're clocked to high you'll crash at that point, because while the voltage drops quite a bit, the clock speed only drops by like 10-15 mhz. If you're clocked to your limit at that point, you're going to be over your limit when the voltage drop kicks in.
    Thanks for advise but I have been keeping my temps below 50C doesn't make a difference.

    My msi PE 660ti is somehow restricted to 100% power target and will never take any more even on new bios.

    I hope it is ok to post big picture

    Here is my msi afterburner stats after running 3d mark 11.
    As you can see in the first test when the card reaches 100% power limit it starts to drop off the boost and lower the voltage.
