The big board above is not a RAMPAGE. It is DANISHUI BAY. It has a 1366 AND a 2011 socket onboard. It is a concept motherboard, and most likely doesn't even work!!!

With 9*0x, 'gimme' overclock is 4.2GHz. With 2600k, 'gimme' overclock is 4.4-4.5GHz. I would expect IvyBridge to be very similar in O/C potential as the 2600k. It is the same manufacturing process.

I agree that anyone with LGA1366 hex core should skip LGA2011/Ivy completely. It is not worth it.
