Other than that, have I offended you in some way? My post was to suggest to try 990X since you have got another 980X, but yeah, I really don't know if 990X is better at those clocks. How much do you know of me to lecture me of my skills? You should check your attitude. Have a nice day.
Let me clarify it to you then. The 990x is exactly the same as 980x as far as manufacturing process is concerned. Perhaps there are better yields now, but intel only released it, to make people think it's better and spend another $1k. 4.5ghz with 1.4v is very good, but once again... You have not proven your stability. I know this from the last YEAR of watching you post to this thread. You have never posted a result that proves stability. 'Find all posts by xarot'.

You were offensive. You insulted the OC I was posting without checking the facts. 1.59v for 4.7GHz HT on is very good. Few chips will even do 4.7GHz HT on, period. 'upgrade your cpu' is not advice. It's an insult. Especially if the person you're talking to is outperforming _everyone_ on this forum's high clockspeed/high performance rankings. I hold the lowest clockspeed for 100GFlops. I hold the highest GFlops with HT on, PERIOD. It's like talking to Einstein and telling him E!=MC^2. IT IS INSULTING.
