This is false. If it were truth It would have happened with every other loop containing any nickel platted product: and it haven't.

Do we have a ton of posts about this same issue with Swiftech? Koolance? AC? Nope. Then, nickel is nickel, and thus the problem lies in that nickel-platting not being as good in different brands.

Trying to find stupid explanations for such simple problem is just trying to hide the truth: of course, for obvious reasons we might never know what went on (legal reasons) but, still, it speaks of quality control here.
