If the board really wont post or loops you could try forcing it to boot from the backup BIOS chip by shorting pin 1 to ground on the main BIOS chip this should get the board to post on the backup chip.... This is not a recommended method but I've used it several times on my UD5 & she's still ticking.
Can you say more, how to short that pin and where is it.
