OCUK have the new Antec Kuhler on offer this week for £46, I looked up a review and it looks super impressive for its price:

^^ I7 990x @ 5 Ghz and 1.5v kept under 75 degrees!
My Triton 88 can only handle my 920 up to 4 Ghz @ 1.3375v, and it still gets to around 85 degrees. The Antec Kuhler should be fine with handling it at 1.3875v and 4.2 Ghz, and it shouldnt emit as much heat since its a water cooler. I wont need to bother with a new CPU at all if this cooler manages 4.2 Ghz fine
BTW both my CPU and QPI needed 1.4v for 4.2 Ghz on my old UD5 board, wheras my R3E comfortably manages with 1.3875v on the CPU and just 1.275v QPI. My CPU overclocks fine, but it needs a lot of voltage. As long as the Antec Kuhler does the trick at those voltages, I'm completely set until either my CPU blows or it is completely obsolete, I'll just swap out my graphics cards as I want, but keep the CPU mobo and ram
Heres my current temperatures, far from ideal:
