I hope the sponsored parts were returned, but I cant say that I would expect that to be true.

This hurts all new modders who seek sponsors and is a prime example of why I think you should be forced to have one really solid build under your belt before you even think about sponsorship.

I'm sorry, but to call this one of the best builds you have ever seen is an insult to all of the great builds we have seen over the years. (I am NOT talking about myself) To put G96GT, CharlesH, Malik, BlackFlag, Boddaker, OldNewby, Virtualrain, BillOwen, Voigts, and Coolmeister (INPO) on the same level as a less than half finished build with an abandoned maker is quite a bold comment to make.

Once again sorry Xion, its nothing personal, but this build doesn't even come close to the top list of any mods. If anything please take my harsh but true comments as motivation to finish the build.

you are out of your mind if you dont think this is one of the top builds out. Not saying some of the people listed aren't great builders, they are, but to deny this guy just cause it was unfinished. His attention to detail is top notch as is his craftsmanship. Also note ONE OF means it could be 1 out of 10 of the best builds or 1 out of 100 of the best builds since there is about a million horrible builds.

You do realize that a solid 70% of this thread is pictures of products on their own, parts that have already been shown multiple times (the side panel), and some pictures of tools at work and such. Little substance for a 45 page thread.

And don't call me ignorant, I am so far from it you have no idea.

Edit: I absolutely said this build has potential and I followed it with support for many weeks, but potential ≠ success

There is nothing to get back at. This build is dead. The OP doesn't have the time to deal with this build. It happens sometimes. Really epic builds are hard to see through from start to finish... And I agree with Snipe on just about everything he said. It was a real shame to be hyped up by this build and the direction that it was going back then (check it -- we were here the whole time giving input). All I can really say is that it takes some serious project management skills to see all the really nice, sponsored builds all the way through, from design to completion.
