Any chance of getting an ETA on these products? From what I understand, the original plan was to get them shipping by the end of February, has there been a delay?

    @kaytaro: no

@YoooH: not quite sure what you mean. The aquasuite is a free program available for all of our USB devices.

@Odai: as said several weeks ago the current ETA is mid-March

Will it be possible to control the motherboard fan headers with the aquasuite?

Hmm, seems interesting idea. Why not integrate some speedfan functionality in aquasuite for everything to be in one place?

Currently we have a small delay and the shipping should start towards the end of this month. So far everything works fine and goes well but takes more time than we thought.

Controlling the motherboard fans will not be possible.

Shoggy: i mean - not controllable/configurable from aquaero in hardware, but just when aquasuite is running, software only. Just like Speedfan software does.

    Hi Shoggy,

I have just ordered an Aquaero 5 XT with 6 poweradjust2 units and a few sensors.

I have been told I need to use the USB connections for full control of all the devices as the aquabus doesnt provide full functionality.

Can you please clarify what functionality is lost if daisy chaining the aquabus capable devices on the aquabus? I would prefer to have just 1 USB cable connected to the motherboard USB header and daisy chain everything over the aquabus.

Also how do the sensor and poweradjust devices communicate with the Aquaero XT main unit if they are all connected via USB when the system is not booted into windows? Do they communicate to each other over the USB ports???

If I decide to connect everything via USB how do you recommend I achieve this internally in the case?

Lastly.. I have provided below my order, can you please provide a diagram or guide as to how best to connect them all together? Is the manual finished?

Cheers and thanks for reading my technical queries.

    Hey shoggy,

Any chance of seeing a 24v 2-4A expansion? (poweradjust 2.1?)

Would save me the trouble of making a step up module.

You don't have to worry about the aquabus/USB thing. Just forget it because it is wrong.

The poweradjust 2 was developed with the aquaero 5 in mind so it can be fully controlled through the aquabus. Using it together with USB at the same time would not even work. The only USB connection that you need is for the aquaero.

Since everything is connected via aquabus it will work immediately when you start the PC. Each poweradjust controllers integrates to the aquaero as an additional fan channel, temperature and flow input with all its controlling and monitoring options.

Wiring of everything is also very easy:

USB => aquaero => High-Speed aquabus => poweradjust #1 => aquabus => poweradjust #2 and so on up to no. 6. Each poweradjust comes with the necessary cable and the PCB has two aquabus interface ports so you can go from one controller to the next controller. For the tubemeter you have a problem since you can only connect one of them! It connects to the Low-Speed aquabus on the aquaero. The second tubemeter can be used with USB but there is no way that it will communicate with the aquaero.

All temperature sensors can be connected directly to the aquaero. If it makes more sense for you because of different distances you can also connect a sensor the poweradjust.

Not quite sure why you have ordered another internal USB cable. The aquaero, each poweradjust and tubemeter already includes one

    @jasoncrowley: I don't think so.

Thanks so much Shoggy thats what i thought about the aquabus and poweradjust2 being native.

I am creating 2 loops with 2 x Koolance 452x res with another 2 D5s on their way which is why I have ordered 2 tubemeters.

It wasnt clear from the online store that the cables are included you might want to update the descriptions. In any case the 1M USB cable might be handy to try and run it around the edge of the case to conceal it. The mountain mods extended ascension is massive and doest have any cable management!

Cheers and thanks for your help and such a cool product!

No. This sensor has also no priority for us since we are focusing on the aquaero itself at the moment.

Will the firmware allowing the LT model to be used as a "slave" device be available once the units are shipping, or will it be a while before AC release this software?

Also, do you know which resellers based in the UK will be stocking these units?

    Thanks!

No, this feature will not be available from the start.

You can order through aquatuning.co.uk or directly from our shop.

Any idea what would be the best route to go for Canadian customers? I've never dealt with Aqua components before so I'm not sure who the resellers are (there doesn't seem to be any list on the aqua site.)

I second that, he replied to a query I submitted at 11:00pm!!!!.

I'm waiting on SW to get stock before placing my order. If everything works out I'll place an order for a black ae5 PRO with water block (providing it works with the big fittings) in April.
