Also, you can paint the PCB and connectors on the motherboard. I've never painted PCB, but I have painted over my connectors before (DFI boards shipped with ugly yellow connectors). It's a huge pain in the ass, but probably still easier than desoldering connectors

I have very creative ways of voiding my warranty.
