yea just return it, i think maybe you might have corrupted the backup BIOS, that is why they don't publish how to flash the backup BIOS, you really aren't supposed to.

BTW you have to use a PS2 keyboard to flash backup BIOS, that is how it went for me. There is also a way to short the main BIOS so that the backup BIOS works instead automatically.
