So has anyone tried bios f6a? What are the improvements?
I'm still gunning for 4ghz stable. 3.9 is rock solid at 1.264v in windows under load.
Edit: trying out F6a.
I'm too curious not to try it! I've had some issues w/ F5 or maybe I'm asking too much out of the chip I have.
Interesting....
Stock settings on this bios are 15x133 = 2ghz.
I'll be changing that shortly!
Also, CPU clock Drive & PCI Express Clock Drive are now 700mV each. I believe it was 900mV on bios F5.
What's a good setting for this?
Edit 2:
finally have 4ghz stable at a lower vcore than 3.9ghz.
Now i'm trying to get my ram stable.... not sure if 1600 w/ lower timings is better than 1860+ @ 9-9-9 +.![]()
