The Trim command is only sent in Win7 for a hard delete. If you were able to recover the data with an unerase utility this requirement was not met. The data needs to be deleted with the shift key or the recycle bin emptied.
Yes, I used an actual Delete, nor Recycle Bin (which is a rename).
@Anvil, how would hIomon test if TRIM is passed or not?
Related to HDTune etc. I don't think any of those can tell if TRIM is working - only how the internal distribution algorithms work.
