The Trim command is only sent in Win7 for a hard delete. If you were able to recover the data with an unerase utility this requirement was not met. The data needs to be deleted with the shift key or the recycle bin emptied. After trying different things I finally settled on IOMeter for Trim testing. The results seem fairly consistent. The last part of post #11 in the thread linked below kind of explains how I tested with IOMeter with the AMD drivers.
