That little cute case reminds me about my SR-2 inside the huge SilverStone FT01, LOL.

It is impossible for me to run 800MHz memory ratio without half of my ram disappearing.
I've seen it too, but a reboot fixes it, almost all the time.
I almost never had this problem with 6x2GB, but I've seen it booting with 16GB (out of 18GB) a few times after going to 3x2GB + 3x4GB. Both at 1600MHz 7-8-7-20 1.65v (load, 1.61v BOIS set).

This seams to be some kind of bug, because the RAM is perfectly stable, and my 2GB-skits (which one of them tends to disappear) are actually rated for better timings. For me a reboot will fix it, almost all the time.

I tried to boot at 2000MHZ, just for fun, but then I got only 6GB out of 18GB. So I guess it's important to use the right speed and timing.
