Also I have dealt with DangerDen before and I found them to be decent people but like all of us, sometimes communications get mixed up.

Still kind of leaves a sour taste in one's mouth when it requires a middle man (or a Movieman ;p) to get an issue resolved that should not have been an issue at all in the first place, especially with their warranty policy blatantly expressing as much. It cleans the wounds, yes, but the wound is still there. Hopefully DD can learn from this type of situation.

fry's is definatly not to blame, hell they get props from me for even supplying a wc kit that isn't thermaltake!!

Perhaps you'd be so kind as to email OCZ on my behalf, I have a box full of dead lifetime warranty products that they don't stock anymore.
OCZ, where life-time warranty means until we're out of stock!

glad it got solved, they shouldn't have responded like that in the first place. but it really took several people to help get a freakin pump replaced? i think they only replaced it because they don't wanna deal with the hassle from a whole angry forum. sparky, just curious, what did the final resolving email say?

I find most "lifetime" warranties a joke with most companies.. so OCZ isn't alone there. However, I can't speak negatively of OCZ since they actually upgraded the hardware I needed replaced due to the original being faulty after a year, and they even paid the shipping both ways.

It's always best to get familiar with terms of use before buying online.
    Just a general thought.

It was being resolved before MM emailed and steps are being taken to help the responsiveness.

Danger Den's terms are they take care of their customers. This was a fluke. If anyone here has DD issues please contact me.

SOunds like it may have been a case of a rep having a bad day or just being lazy. It happens. I know I have had issues like this with other companies where it took a couple of calls to get someone that felt like helping or that wasn't stupid.

Glad it got fixed though. It would be a shame to have this issue out there with the release of their new res coming up soon.

That is true, I bet your e-mail did leave before DB's. He probably was filling up the jager machine.
