The AIDA project basically returned to its roots, you can even say its back to "normal". I've personally started developing first ASMDemo, then AIDA16, then AIDA32, and they all were one-man freeware projects. Then I've teamed up with some very nice guys to form Lavalys, and started a similar project called EVEREST, which was basically a software based on my AIDA32. Later on, things went south with those very kind persons at Lavalys, and now I'm outta Lavalys and started the AIDA64 project with a couple of old friends and former colleagues.
What I can assure you is AIDA64 is the future. I'm not in a position to discuss or even know what would happen to Lavalys, but maybe soon we'll all see how it turns out.
