It's not secretive. He's a pre-beta tester and cannot provide the BIOS to others until after it has been approved. Why is this so hard for you guys to understand? Do you just sit around all day flashing your BIOS?

On topic, the Asus app was finally added to the app store! I'm going give it a test later today.

nope, this isn't a bug, probaly you are only running too close to your X58 limit or you are using too high PCI-E frequency.
raise X58 or PCI-E voltage may help to gain stability.

It seems you're experiencing the same issues that I have been researching recently. This was Asus' most recent response:

    (Email removed)

However, this happens with dry ice as well. Also, I don't think CPU quality gets much better than a Xeon chip that will hit 5.6GHz!

Hopefully your research can help us out.

If RealTemp shows 95, then 95 it is.

My i7 970 ES has TJmax of 101°C.

bios 1005, I noticed the following issue:

    1)bclk = 195x19, ram=1950 cl9

    2)bclk=133x21, ram=1333, cl9

    3)bios 0011, bclk=200x21, ram 2000 cl9
seems that everything is working properly.

I would like to know how this works as well.
Is there a client app that runs on the PC for this?
I tried using wifi and entering the PC IP in there too. No connection.
BT does not connect at all in Win7 using iphone 4 w/ios 4.1.

It would be nice (especially with wifi) to be able to check voltages, etc. from a distance!

yes, but linx stress CPU and memory, not X58.
BCLK jump occurs when x58 is unstable due to high QPI-link frequency.

asus and the other brands should cherry pick the X58 chip for their high end boards.......

Just got myself this board today. A quick question about power connector.

There are 2 X 8 pins 12v, Can I connect one with 4 pins and another with 8 pins? Or I just need to connect one 8 pins if I do not extreme OC. Thank you.

I did a bunch of reading on this forum and others, seems to be you only need to connect one 8pin or two 4pins, unless you plan on using 3 video cards. Otherwise, if your PSU has them available, why not just plug them in like I did with mine. Does that help?
