ATI cannot make working video drivers

10.4 is the latest driver that works with my reference 5850's in
Single/Xfire
DVI
HDMI with Audio
BC2
Metro 2033
Bioshock 1-2
Mass Effect 1-2
Far Cry
MW2
L4d 1-2
NFS Shift
FEAR 1-2
Dirt 2
Any 3d benchmark (though not the best) 10.6 for those
MPC video acceleration
2D clocks with Java/proper 2D clocks 127/400
X58 and 790gx platforms

And Im sure Im missing something. Thats the run down of my uses and 10.4 is the only one to meet all my demands.
I understand there are many configurations that can run into issues even with the said above driver.
It does suck but while benching some old Nvidia cards I had to try several different drivers as well not just for the higher score either.

Lets all just not get blind sided and forget it happens in both camps.
Drivers are like shoes, one size cant fit all.
