Are you sure DXVA is even being used when you play video? Do you know how to check? Do you know with how many reference frames video has been encoded with? Is it a Level@4.1 video or higher?
Yes, I doubt their claims since I can runs Tessmark just fine, it haven't crashed a single time.

Whats the number of reference frames got to do with anything related to ATI's ability to play back video or not ?

I'm talking about HD video content either i720 or i1080 encoded in H.264 format, MP4 format and FLV format encoded with level 4, 4.1 or 5 etc.
