One question came to mind, those fans on the rads look like they are outside of the case. Will you be able to close the sidepanels with that setup or have I totally missed something?
    thanks woffen!
i'm planning to have a shroud for them... which is proving to be quite a task - i want them to blend well with the curvy features of the temjin.

pleased to hear that; but i'm sure i'm just minor league compared to the awesome pool of modders here. don't forget to post a log here! the advice and support you'd receive here is priceless.

Set her up in a studio and take some nice pics that do it justice. The triple SLI on water is pure win. Nice job sleeving the cables into the PCI-E.
thanks Xion! your project is turning out to be an epic build! can't wait to see your zero gravity chamber in action.

I love that 'T' you have made of BP fittings around the GPUs... so much BitsPower!

Thanks so much mate, Are they drain ports which i can see connected before the GPU'S?

Another thing I find funny is AMD/Intel would snipe any of our Moms on a grocery run if it meant good quarterly results, and you are forever whining about what feser did?

    you're welcome mate.
    yes, those are drainports.
but not before GPU/CPU... they're after the blocks and before the rads.

unfortunately, i've torn down the system in preparation for a major revision so i won't be able to take new pics of this build. i'll just refer to an old pic:

my configuration, which is similar to both cpu and gpu loops:
res > pump > waterblocks > viperchecks (midplate) > T fittings (3 outlets: to drainport, to radiator, closed with stop fitting) > radiator > back to res.

as for the need for drainports, i'd consider it a good addition to the loop.
it makes it easier to empty the top portion of my loop and do any modifications/adjustments. i placed the drainports there because i didn't want to drain the rads and i didn't want to blow into the loop to drain... gravity took care of draining the top loop.

Raistlin was my favorite character of all time. Even though I'm not weak and sickly as he was, I understood his mind. He took on a Goddess and would have won, but he saw the future his world as the only deity would create and chose not to. I understood his love/hate/jealousy of his twin brother, even though I am an only child personally. The life he could have had with Crysania...defeating powerful Fistandantilus. Raistlin Majere, the only mortal the gods ever feared.

I always was annoyed with that do-gooder Tanis, and respected Sturm and Riverwind.

yup, that pretty much sums up how memorable raistlin is. too bad there isn't enough raistlin chronicles to read about him. glad to see a fellow fan.

Thanks mate so its best place the draniports on the bottom so the gravity just takes it.. Does the drainport have to be connected to a certain spot or anywhere? Also when you drain you have the pump on or off? Kinda new with drainports so need as much info hehe

yup, lowest point possible. my initial idea was to have it open down to the bottom of the case. but i didn't want to drain the rads when i open the drain since my initial need was to drain just the top part of the loop (gpu/cpu blocks mainly) for adjustments.

i took into consideration that the drain port didn't restrict the flow; especially since the ball valve (switches the port on/off) has a very small diameter.
i have the pump off when i drain... nothing on (electrically).

    thanks dude.
i wanted to isolate the loops.. and observe the temps. and it was easier for me to do any changes to either loop without disturbing the other.

anyways, got a revision coming... i'll load bigger pictures then.

Hm.... only suggestion for the build is getting different rad fans. The thermalright fans are great, but they are a bit of an eyesore.

Ok thanks dude for the quick reply's, Does it matter where i have the Drain port running off like before or after anything? I was thinking of having it on the bottom of my case maby off my gpu or pump..
