    status quo

final update for this year... :P
been really busy with my kids (which i enjoy) and work (which i need)... and thanks to rockband - my ps3 has been getting some mileage keeping me 'away' from my pc most of the time. haha.

anyways, to start off... i had the rads mounted at the bottom compartment... the 'cool' pair

here's the 360 from the side

and the feser 240 on the other side

    pumps mounted

ports for tubes coming from rads below

vipercheck flow indicators, serve as ports for tubes going back to the rads

busy down under; connection from viperchecks above - splits into return tubes to rad and drainport below

took a break from 'pipework' and prep'd the motherboard

the cpu was not left out

    resting on the mobo tray

last few stages of the progress, graphics cards in. tubes connected.

    filling it up

    view from the top

eventually revised the fitting configuration for the gpu loop

after some tidying up of the cables

    'final' look

Wow, what a killer computer! Thanks for posting pics of the Bitspower NB/SB block too, I have been loking everywhere for pics of it on a Classified. Keep up the great work!

Just a quick question, if I may: how easy is it to change the TJ07 motherboard tray to an inverted ATX position?
    Regards,
    Chris

I'm nto sure why you used so many fittings, when many of those turns and 45" would have been natural.

If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.

The paint job on the case is stunning, really smacks you in the face. It's a shame the fluid can't keep up, it looks a little dull when compared. Overall though the whole build is just awesome, and i hope you have a massive monitor.

BTW did you ever consider black tygon? It would contrast great with the wicked paint, but that's just my stupid opinion

Excellent work bianco, the red inside of the case look excellent and I like the red coolant too.
However the res is the one thing that keep catching my eye. Is the slight angle on the res, dew to the tubing from the pumps pushed it over a tad, it just throws it all off a little.

All in all I am really happy to see you have finished Raistlin, I have been watching and hoping for some time now,
you have done very well mate, you should be proud of yourself.

I second the too many fittings opinion.
I would also change the pumps position, there is no reason to buy a performance top and put a 90º fitting on top, you could just use the pump in the "performance" position, or put them connected directly to the reservoirs.
I still think that the XPSC dual bay/dual pump res is the best solution for dual loops on small or too cluttered cases.

thanks h2o. and here's one more for you.
    as for inverting the mobo:
1, swapped the top/bottom rails but the disadvantage is - spacing would be too close to the top. although you won't have to change the backplate.
2, custom backplate, by purchasing (ie murdermod) or fabricating your own.

thanks whuzabi. hehe. yeah, but i just wanted to see how it'd look and i wanted to have the gpu (out) tube parallel with the cpu/nbsb (out) tube.

i've yet to perfect the 'molding' the tubes to the shape i want. will have some more test on the tube routing after my order of new tubes come.

yeah, wondered about using black tygon... might consider it if the red primochills don't cut it. and yeah, it'd be accompanied by a dell 3008.

yup, the res was being pushed back by tubes. i've managed to fix it up a little. but i'm more keen on modifying the pump/res brackets and remove the 90deg fittings to the pump (in) port.
    appreciate your patience and interest!

currently on the redesign phase; initially - i wanted to 'show' the liquid entering the pump. but then i realized, one the loop is fully bled and closed... there's not much movement to be seen... except for the spinning viperchecks. haha.

Thoroughly impressed with all the metal fab work you put into this, bianco.

I always had trouble making red look good in pics. Your results and final work came out stellar. Great job, matey

    haaha. thanks Bex.
things have been pretty busy and i keep thinking about the 'unique factor' that i can add in to the build. in the end, i just wanted to have everything watercooled and running. i'm sure yours would turn out stunning.

i'll have more time looking at others' project logs now. and maybe see what i can improve on my system - and yours is turning out to be quite an eye candy.

np h2o. yeah, it was really nice. although i had to admit, when i first got it months ago, i was told that it was 'limited' edition that made it more 'special'. but i think now bp has made it available. well, more bp bling for everyone!

HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! may the new year bring more hardware, tech and watercooling awesomeness that we will spend our money on. and hopefully, the new year will be prosperous, so that we won't run out of money. haha. good health to everyone!

    Outstanding build there, really nice!!

One question came to mind, those fans on the rads look like they are outside of the case. Will you be able to close the sidepanels with that setup or have I totally missed something?

    Very nice build.

Set her up in a studio and take some nice pics that do it justice. The triple SLI on water is pure win. Nice job sleeving the cables into the PCI-E.
