The problem is that you can't put the shrink over the pin and i don't think you'll be able to fit two heatshrunk wires into the plastic housing.

You have to fold the pins over as close to the wire as you can. Bend the wire as close to the pin as you can, and possibly tape the pin parallel to the wire.
