The bottom is open below the D5 so you still get some airflow around it.

I wont be buying one anyway :P If it was made out of delerin, then id think about it

You cannot bond Delrin (Polyoxymethylene) easily, like acrylic. So i assume bonding Delrin is a complex and lengthy process.

Waterlogged may know a bit more on the subject.
