Everyone starts as a noob. First I would suggest staying between 101-112. Going above 112 can be risky not in terms of frying your graphics card (no voltage is being modded) but causing instability in other hardware, such as linked SATA controllers, which can and have caused hard drive corruption at settings above 115. I am running twin 5870's in crossfire and upped PCIe to 103 simply for better system stability; I have no illusions that any PCIe increase given my configuration (and you are in the same boat with 3 x 5850's in crossfire) could lead to any NOTICEABLE increase in performance of already very fast configurations (beyond possibly an uptick in a benchmark score with no real world implications given program code). If it were my system (especially given the early state of 5800's series drivers) I would likely not change the setting unless I was experiencing some instability. However just my opinion. Good Luck
