We use 32amp circuit independant circuit(for each APC 3000RM) you should probably do the same, running this thing off your current breaker will either be a fire hazard or it will trip constantly.

Do not connect the printer though, use a standard surge protector instead.
wait wait wait.... why 32amp circuit ???

I thought the specs show this UPS as a 30amp ?

But when I ask my electrician to install a 30amp or 32amp power outlet (dedicated? 30/32-110v?), do I simply say "Can you add a high powered 30/32amp-110v outlet which will be used for this UPS here that requires a "NEMA L5-30P" input connection (referring to the spec sheet now and showing him the drawing of the plug schematics ... ) ?"

    or is that not right?

im not very knowledgable when it comes to electricity lol...

so please help me out here..... my local home depot told me Ill need "Wire 12" to run from the circuit breaker to the desired location where the outlet would need to be installed for the UPS. I guess "Wire 12" is heavy duty for this kind of power requirement?

    thanks again!
