Thanks for the response, Kibbler. I was curious about the fan painting, but only because I wondered what color you would be going with. The gray will also be a good choice. I like how you are doing multiple colors in a case where the safe bet would have been red and black only.
edit: just checked out the Maximus III - it looks like you've designed your color scheme just for that board.
