just wondering, if you're using a matx motherboard, could you place the drives underneath the 5.25" bays (i'm assuming that's where they are originally) and have room on top of the case for another rad?

how much space is available on top if you're using the 5.25" bays?
and is there a point in putting a 1x140 rad up there?
    Thanks!
You could easily fit another 2.120 radiator up there, it's about 8,5cm from the top to the motherboard if you use the original hard drive cage and 5,25" slots.

    Thanks, yeah I did.
You could probably buy another stock cooler from someone who's doing LC or something, and paint i instead.

No I peeled it off with a needle before painting the housing, it was thick separate letters with some glue on the back.

I finally got hold of my dremel yesterday, so I got to work with the case.
Still just pretty raw "in action"-pics.

First off, I drilled and tapped four holes for the new feet.

    Insert radiator here!

A few cuts later, I didn't have my grinding tools at home so it's a pretty raw cut.

A simple cut to the radgrill, so that it clears the foot.

Fits quite nicely, but I'm not using this one, it was just for testing before I cut the real thing.

The new feet looks so good on the case.

    Same goes for the back.

Since the project is called "Simplicity", I thought I'd go oldschool.

Apparently the reused LiLi piece had holes in it..

    Temporary bolts and nuts.

At least the measurements were correct.

I think I'll redo it in acrylic instead.

Yea, I think doing it in acrylic would match the shiny look you've got going on in the rest of the build.

Thanks for the "more," but unfortunately it wasn't enough and still I need... MORE!!!!

Your measurements were bang! on! mate, nice fab work.
    Would look excellent powdercoated black.
If you happen to make it out of perspex I feel a tinted/smoked perspex would look excellent.

Yeah, if I make it out of acrylic I'll be sure to tint and blast it.

Thanks mate, but I dont know if it'll be used.

Tried to clean up the mount, even if I'm not going to use it.

White studios and daylight isn't really my thing, so I'm sorry about the quality.

Some testing of the mount, I'll probably get two 90 degree fittings to lower the Pump-GPU tubing, getting a nicer bend.

A couple of pages back, some of you requested high res pics.
Did a couple just for you.

Looks sexy. Even though you're aiming for Feser One Blue coolant, I urge you to fill her up ONCE with some plain water and see how it looks before you go for the blue.

    Loonym...You are missed.

    The element of one

    Breathe me in
    Breathe me in

I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
    there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation

Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.

I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.

No words are available to describe my admiration of your work (building and photography).

It is work like this that makes me want to either not mod or put what I've done back in the box.......however it can also make me want to strive to achieve a small percentage of your quality. Because if I could do that I know I'll have created something of beauty.

The clear tubing was, in my opinion, really uber nice. I have a build in the attic that has been waiting for some inspiration and think you've done that with this and Crystal Clear. Just need the funding and a cooperative wife! It has been a good example of "build it when the parts are here or forget it".

Also all these shots of EK items have me moving away from Aqua Computer if I ever get around to doing my second WC build.

Yeah, I'll probably have to leak test it, and I'll use destilled for that.

Yeah I have pretty cooperative friends and family so that's why things are running smoothly.

Both EK and Aqua Computer makes really nice products in my opinion, why not mix them up?

A nice little package from Munich arrived today, just missing a PSU.

    Thanks Shaz!

The PSU just arrived, I'm going to start the slaughter tonight.
THe cables will be cut to exact lengths, all excessive cabling will be removed completely and it will be painted in a glossy white.

    Some pics before modding.

Worked all night, here are some teasers of what's been done 'til now.

    The colour scheme.

Absolutely no see through, thanks to some tips from Nils.

The atx24 lost 25cm of its length.

Ops, did I void the warranty?

Going to keep on working strong, more updates to come soon.
    Thanks for watching!

The sleeving is finished, I left the PSU with the bare essentials.
    Atx24, atx4, two PCI-e 6 and a single molex.

I'll use the molex to make my own splitter customized to fit the project.

    Cheers.
